Description
this is the beginning of a series that I will continue to have a lot of fun with. The poem came the same day!
WHITE BUTTERFLY BLESSING
Glorious sun filtered through October gold trees,
from the scarlet wild rose brambles
a white butterfly (Or was it a tiny angel in disguise?)
touched and blessed me as she fluttered by.
A soft kiss on my right arm-A gentle collision of lives
with a velvet glove strength;
a faintest whisper of wings:
"Savor the nectars while they flow-
Before the the blossoms sleep
beneath a soon blanket of snow." Anastasia October 2011
In Joyful worshiping obedience to the command to:
Let them Praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to him with the timbrel and harp...Psalm 149
I have been in a rare, serene place-for this fleeting season
by our river of living water
playing ancient hymns, and writing
new songs on the Celtic harp-a Dusty strings 26-
"Be Thou my vision oh Lord of my heart..."
"This is my Father's world..."
Two harps have passed on in my life and two Daniels that were
in time frames related to them.
Now a new phase and reconciliation
with my love of the harp, and a new commitment to even
lessons with UNM continuing education (officially beginning Oct. 24-Nov 14)
from a Holy Spirit filled harp and hammer dulcimer
instructor and worship leader!
Hymns and playing
by the river are my rewards
for practicing the scales and learning the levers!
Awesome!
Autumn Blessings to you all
