Large Original oil painting rendered last summer in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, where I was asked to do a painting for the Iranian Christian Church House, where I was staying at that time.Ezekiel's Vision of the River of life kept flowing through my mind from Chapter 47. When I had to leave Tbilisi for the States, the painting was still wet. I asked and my dear friend like a spiritual son, Erekle Leshelashvili, a great young artist, to help me finish it just for fun if he felt like it-He had added some "pomegranates" to the trees by the River-I photographed it the night of my going away party that my Beloveds threw for me--Tearily, as I was missing them already. The fruit did not show up on the photo, so I decided to finish it up with this rendering, with additional digital assistance. Probably more versions are to follow.
About Anastasia Savage Ealy
ARTIST BIO Anastasia Ealy has been a New Mexico artist since 1984. She was raised with the love of the Rocky Mountain west, ranching, horses, farm animals, gardening and mountains. Many summer times were spent on the Nebraska family ranch. Her mother was a Creole from New Orleans, Louisiana, of original French and Portuguese,Spanish,Sephardi-Jew, early 1700's Colonial ancestry. This Spanish heritage, and having lived and painted in Calpe, Spain during the 1970's also gives Anastasia a strong affinity to Northern New Mexico.Colonial heritage, and love for it people and landscapes.
