Here are the eyewitness accounts that this drawing of mine depicts:

John answered them, saying, "I baptize with water, but there stands One among you whom you do not know.

These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing.

ARTIST BIO Anastasia Ealy has been a New Mexico artist since 1984. She was raised with the love of the Rocky Mountain west, ranching, horses, farm animals, gardening and mountains. Many summer times were spent on the Nebraska family ranch. Her mother was a Creole from New Orleans, Louisiana, of original French and Portuguese,Spanish,Sephardi-Jew, early 1700's Colonial ancestry.
